Rock Salt is a family run business owned Gary and his two sons Tom and Andy. It is the third venture from the family, who also own So Salsa tapas restaurant on Cooks Road and Tree House restaurant just 3 doors from Rock Salt on Coronation Road.
Luke started his career washing dishes a couple of days a week in Fat Italian. However, Luke soon took an interest in the kitchen and was trained up to become a starter chef, whilst he went to college to do his chef qualification. Luke was head chef of Tree House when the Peters family bought the restaurant in 2016. Rolling into 2017 he moved to So Salsa as the head chef where he created food all of Crosby fell in love with. Two years later he has become the Executive Chef over all three sites creating the best seasonal menus in the area. He isn’t doing too bad considering when he started as a dishwasher he has a phobia of all sauces!!
Jack started his career in Newz Bar Liverpool as a glass collector, after a couple of years he moved to Sir Thomas hotel where he met Andy, Danielle & Paul. In 2016 after Paul moving on from Sir Thomas Jack became the manager of the bar and restaurant. As soon as a management position was available in So Salsa, Jack jumped ship to work with his old colleagues. Although Jack was great in the restaurant, the bar scene has always had a piece of his heart. So when the opportunity came for him to become the manager of Rock Salt back making cocktails he jumped at the opportunity.
Danielle started her hospitality career in The Sir Thomas back in 2013 where she worked along side Jack & Andy. Danielle done the rounds of the bars and restaurants in Liverpool working in top places such as Living Room, Newz Bar & Circo, before having a stint living abroad in Tenerife. 6 years later Danielle opened Rock Salt as the assistant manger, working alongside her old work colleague Jack.
